About Us
Volunteering Waikato - Te Ohu Tuuao o Waikato was established in 1993 and our vision is to enrich lives through volunteering and our mission is to connect people and transform communities.
We are the lead organisation in the Waikato region for collaborating with organisations and connecting them with volunteers they need to provide their services in our communities.
We facilitate regular volunteer-relevant training and networking events, to support organisations with their volunteer programmes and to enable volunteer managers to connect, share their lessons learned and maintain a strong a support network.
We regularly celebrate the volunteers in our communities and recognise the organisations in our communities that demonstrate best practice in their volunteering programmes.
